Vicky has worked in local government for over 16 years in housing strategy and housing development. The last five years Vicky has worked for Shelter, initially as a relationship manager in the National Homelessness Advice service aimed at supporting local authorities, Citizen Advice Bureaux and voluntary sector agencies to provide good quality housing and homelessness advice.
More recently, Vicky was appointed as the Birmingham Hub manager responsible for the delivery of 11 advice and support services. which on average sees over 5000 plus clients per financial year. In view of the role as Hub Manager, Vicky works closely with a range of partners both statutory and voluntary to tackle and respond effectively to the issues of homelessness.
