Cllr Tristan Chatfield
Cabinet Member for Transparency, Openness & Equality – Birmingham City Council
Tristan was first elected as a council member for the Oscott ward in 2012 and was re-elected in 2016. Having served as Chair of Audit since 2016 he was appointed as Cabinet Member for Transparency, Openness & Equality in March 2017.
Tristan is also a school governor at a local primary school, a board member at the IKON gallery and a trustee of the George Coller Memorial Fund. Since 2005 he has been employed in the constituency office of Khalid Mahmood MP, Member of Parliament for Birmingham Perry Barr, working with people from across Handsworth, Lozells, Perry Barr, Kingstanding and Handsworth Wood. Tristan graduated from Cardiff University in 2003 and moved to Birmingham in 2005.
